Please Consider Making Your Extension Open-Source

You’ve built something exceptional—an extension with real potential to become widely adopted. In the spirit of #buildinpublic, open-sourcing it could take it even further. The developer community thrives on collaboration. Open-sourcing would allow contributors to add support for more frameworks and languages—something that’s difficult to scale alone. I'd personally be interested in contributing. There’s clear demand. Infinite canvas tools are gaining traction, but attempts to integrate them into code editors—like Haystack Editor—haven’t stuck. Yours stands out. You’ve raised the bar, Alex. This is the kind of project people rally around. Let them.

Thank you, Colton. I really appreciate your thoughtful feedback and the kind words. I’ve decided to try turning this into a paid product for now, as I want to see if it can sustain itself and eventually fund continued development. I’m focusing on building it out myself at this stage, but I’m considering involving others in the future, just not through open source at this point.
